CH 18 · INJURIES DESK

Who's out — and which props it moves.

A slate-relevant injury desk, status-toned and team-grouped: out, questionable, doubtful, probable. Each report maps to the props it affects — usage absorption, lineup shuffles, minutes caps — so a late scratch is a signal, not a surprise.

What it is

Only the reports that touch tonight's slate, grouped by team and toned by status so out / questionable / doubtful / probable read at a glance.

How it works

Each report is mapped to the props it actually affects: who absorbs the usage, how the lineup shuffles, where a minutes cap bites. The model already re-prices around confirmed status — the desk shows you why a number moved.

What backs it

Status feeds the nightly run; when a feed is stale or blocked the desk says so explicitly rather than showing a confident wrong status. Fail-closed, same as everything else on the network.
